Accessible MiDAS Full Course
An Accessible MiDAS course is an additional 1.5 day course consisting of another classroom session followed by an assessment of your skills to secure a wheelchair into a minibus and assist someone with mobility difficulties.
- The legal, practical and safety requirements of minibus driving
- Passenger safety (adult and child)
- Breakdown, accident and emergency procedures
- Personal safety procedures for drivers
- MiDAS handbook
- Theory assessment test
- 1 hour practical driving assessment
- Disability awareness
- Wheelchair and passenger restraint equipment training
- Use of tail lift or ramp equipment and safety advice
Full Day +2hr driving assessment for 8 - 12 People
